Lead a Bible Study
Are You Called to Teach and Disciple? Christian Military Fellowship exists to help you live out your calling to share the hope of Christ within the military community—right where you serve.
The Calling
God places believers strategically throughout the military.
On installations.
In units.
In offices.
In neighborhoods.
You may already have influence with those around you. Leading a CMF Bible study is not about professional ministry training.
It is about faithful obedience. CMF exists to help you start and sustain a Christ-centered fellowship among members of the military community in your area.
If you sense even a small stirring to disciple others, we want to walk with you.

What a CMF Local Leader Does
CMF Local Leaders help establish and sustain fellowship within their military community. This typically includes:
-
Leading a regular Bible study
-
Facilitating prayer and spiritual growth
-
Building authentic Christian fellowship
-
Staying in touch with participants
-
Reaching enlisted personnel (our primary focus)
-
Fostering unity across ranks
-
Building respectful relationships with chaplains and chaplain teams
CMF is an “all ranks” ministry, but we intentionally focus on serving enlisted personnel, ensuring no one feels spiritually overlooked. You will not lead alone. You will be supported.
How We Equip You
We provide structured briefing materials to help you prayerfully and practically begin:
Orientation (Brief #1)
An overview of CMF’s mission, heart, and ministry philosophy.
Developing a Local Ministry (Brief #2)
The biblical foundation and practical steps for establishing a sustainable local fellowship.
Pray & Plan (Brief #3)
The most important step—seeking Christ’s direction for your local ministry and following His leading with obedience.
These briefings help ensure your ministry is spiritually grounded, practically sustainable, and missionally aligned.
Who Should Consider Leading?
You do not need:
-
Seminary credentials
-
Professional ministry experience
-
All the answers
You do need:
-
A growing walk with Christ
-
A heart for people
-
A willingness to pray
-
A desire to see others grow spiritually
-
Humility and teachability
Military peer leadership creates trust quickly and allows authentic spiritual conversations to flourish.
Why It Matters
Installations change.Assignments rotate. But God continues building His Church within the military.
When local leaders step forward:
-
Bible studies begin.
-
Spiritual questions are answered.
-
Marriages are strengthened.
-
Young service members are discipled.
-
Hope spreads within units.
One faithful leader can change the spiritual climate of an installation.
