Trauma Healing
Restoration Rooted in Christ. Strength Renewed in Community.
Christian Military Fellowship offers Christ-centered, peer-to-peer trauma healing environments for military members, veterans, and families seeking hope and renewal.
The Heart of It
Military service can involve experiences that leave lasting wounds.
-
Combat exposure.
-
Operational stress.
-
Moral injury.
-
Loss.
-
Family strain.
Many carry these burdens quietly. The CMF Trauma Healing Ministry exists to create structured, Christ-centered environments where individuals can process pain honestly, rebuild resilience, and rediscover hope through biblical truth and trusted peer community.
This ministry is grounded first in the gospel — the belief that restoration is possible through Christ.

Peer-to-Peer, Christ-Centered Healing
At the center of this ministry are facilitated, peer-led healing groups designed specifically for military culture.
We utilize structured curriculum developed by Reboot Recovery, which integrates biblical principles with practical recovery tools.
Some of our leaders have also pursued additional training in trauma awareness and suicide intervention programs such as LivingWorks ASIST. While CMF does not provide clinical services or professional counseling, our facilitators strive to lead responsibly and within appropriate boundaries. Our healing environments provide:
-
Scripture-centered teaching
-
Guided group discussion
-
Practical recovery principles
-
Confidential peer connection
-
Encouragement toward personal responsibility and renewed purpose
This ministry does not replace professional mental health care.
It offers structured spiritual and peer support within a trusted fellowship setting.

Designed for Military Reality
Trauma within military culture is shaped by leadership responsibility, exposure to danger, loss, and reintegration pressures.
Our facilitators understand these realities. Groups are conducted with dignity, structure, and steady leadership.
Healing requires courage.
Faith strengthens that courage.

Designed to Multiply
As restoration takes root, participants are encouraged — when ready — to support others within their installations and communities.
Hope shared becomes hope multiplied.
Resilience strengthens families.
Restored identity rebuilds confidence in service.
The Impact
Within Christ-centered peer environments:
-
Isolation decreases.
-
Shame loses influence.
-
Faith is rebuilt.
-
Relationships begin to mend.
-
Purpose is renewed.
Spiritual restoration strengthens readiness and restores hope.
