LCDR Robert “Rob” Guilliams, CHC, USN (Ret) MDiv, MSM

Member, Board of Directors

Rob Guilliams has a long and varied career that uniquely combines both military service and ministry leadership. He began his military journey with six years of enlisted service in the United States Army, where he first became involved in ministry through the base chapel in Augsburg, Germany.

Following his time in the Army, Rob served on church staff in Georgia, Louisiana, and Kentucky while completing his education and continuing to grow in his calling to ministry. He later served as a Chaplain Candidate in the United States Air Force Reserve while attending seminary before transferring to the United States Navy, where he served on active duty as a Chaplain.

During his naval service, Rob ministered alongside both the United States Marine Corps and the United States Coast Guard, gaining a deep understanding of the spiritual needs and challenges faced by service members across multiple branches. He retired from the Navy in 2023 and now serves as Executive Pastor of Grace Baptist Church in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Rob holds a Master of Divinity and a Master of Science in Management and is currently a candidate for a Doctor of Education in Christian Leadership. His education and experience equip him to lead with both theological depth and organizational effectiveness.

Rob gave his life to Christ at a youth summer camp in 1985, a decision that has shaped the course of his life and ministry. He is married to his wife, Dee Dee, and together they have four children, ages ranging from 17 to 27. Their oldest daughter is married, and her husband is currently serving as a United States Navy Chaplain Candidate. Their oldest son serves in the United States Coast Guard.

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do everything for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
