Mrs. Patti Katter
Ministry to Christian Military Wives
Patti Katter founded Christian Military Wives in 2007 during her husband’s deployment to Iraq while serving in the United States Army. What began as a small support group for military spouses navigating deployment grew into a strong, faith-centered community of women supporting one another through the realities of military life.
After her husband was severely wounded in combat, Patti stepped down from leadership as Christian Military Wives transitioned into Christian Military Fellowship so she could focus on her family. That season required her attention. While caring for a wounded warrior and raising her children, she continued serving behind the scenes, helping strengthen other military-focused organizations and supporting veterans and families in practical ways. God had redirected her for a time, but the calling to serve never left.
In 2025, she felt led to reconnect and began volunteering again, trusting the nudge she had carried for years. Patti does not claim perfection. She is a woman of faith who listens, learns, and keeps showing up.
She enjoys music, coffee, the beach, sunshine, and meaningful conversation. Time with family and friends matters deeply to her, as does connecting with new people and paying attention to the direction God places on her heart.
She is clear about her boundaries and does not try to carry everything alone. Like many military spouses, she understands the tendency to overcommit because the desire to serve runs deep. She believes strong community requires many hands and many voices. Patti actively encourages other military wives to step forward, find where they belong, and serve alongside one another. No one is meant to do this alone.
