Mrs. Sue Price
Heartland Ministry Fund #4210
Reboot Recovery Leader
(Formerly Ministry to Camp LeJeune)
Sue Price has been faithfully engaged in ministry for nearly four decades, serving alongside her late husband, Dick Price, in answering God’s call to reach the military and veteran community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Sue and Dick were married on July 20, 1985. In 1989, while attending a missions conference at their church, both independently sensed God stirring their hearts toward missions—each stepping out in response without knowing the other had done the same. Though no immediate follow-up came, the Lord was already at work, quietly directing their path.
That calling became clearer during a veterans’ reunion, where they encountered a group of Vietnam veterans sharing the healing love and salvation of Jesus Christ with fellow servicemen. After a season of prayer, research, and wrestling with God’s direction, Dick and Sue surrendered to the call, and together they began a ministry devoted to veterans. Over the next decade, they reached men and women across generations—from World War II through Desert Storm and into the Iraq War.
In the late 1990s, their ministry came under the umbrella of Cru (then Campus Crusade for Christ). Soon after, they were invited to consider full-time military outreach with the Navigators. In faithful obedience, Sue and Dick left their jobs and family in Indianapolis, Indiana, and relocated to Jacksonville, North Carolina, in 2000 to serve active-duty Marines at Camp Lejeune and Camp Geiger.
After several years with the Navigators, the Lord led them to Christian Military Fellowship, where they found a ministry home that aligned deeply with their passion for evangelism, discipleship, and supporting military chaplains. Together, they served faithfully for many years, ministering to service members and their families in the Camp Lejeune area.
On February 15, 2025, Dick was called home to be with his Savior. Since that time, Sue has continued forward in the ministry the Lord entrusted to them both, now serving through Heartland Hope Ministry.
Today, Sue ministers to veterans, young military couples, and military wives, continuing her heart for discipleship and personal encouragement. Having returned to her roots in Indiana, she now serves through Heartland Hope Ministry, carrying forward the same mission the Lord established during her years at Camp Lejeune. She also leads Reboot Recovery courses, helping individuals and families find healing from trauma through the hope of Christ. Her ministry focuses on walking alongside those impacted by the wounds of war and life, strengthening individuals and families to provide steady, compassionate, Christ-centered support. She offers practical, biblical guidance in recognizing triggers, responding with wisdom, and caring well for those navigating difficult and often unseen struggles.
Sue remains deeply committed to sharing the peace, healing, and hope found in Jesus Christ. With a heart shaped by years of faithful service, she continues to walk alongside those in need, trusting the Lord to bring restoration and renewed life through His Word.
