Michelle Faust
Ministry to Christian Military Wives - Dover AFB
Fund #4235
Michelle Faust is a devoted follower of Christ, Air Force spouse of over 19 years, and mother of four teenagers, currently serving alongside the military community at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. Through the unique challenges of military life—frequent moves, seasons of isolation, and constant transition—God has shaped in Michelle a deep compassion for women who long to feel seen, connected, and supported.
Though Michelle came to faith at a young age, her journey has included seasons marked by abandonment, abuse, and struggles with mental health. It was during a time when her marriage was near divorce that true transformation began. As she and her husband, Daniel, surrendered their brokenness to the Lord, Christ faithfully restored their marriage and renewed their lives.
Over the past five years, Michelle has been growing in what it means to live a life fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit. Through this journey, she was connected to Christian Military Fellowship and Christian Military Wives, where she now leads a weekly Bible study and develops teaching materials drawn from her personal study and writing.
Michelle is also a published author, having written Friendship – God’s Plan through History & Beyond and Elements of Surrender: Candle, Lamp, & Light Switch. She is currently working on her third book, Elements of Surrender: Desert Places, continuing to share the message of surrender, identity in Christ, and spiritual growth through her writing.
Michelle has been deeply influenced by those who have poured into her spiritual growth, including her husband, Daniel Faust, Pastor David Schlichting, and Steve Haaland.
Her passion is to equip military women to know God intimately, understand their identity in Christ, and walk in daily surrender to Him—no matter where military life takes them.
“Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice…” — Romans 12:1
