MSgt. Greg Holm, ANG (Ret.)

Director of Field Ministries    Fund #4250
Prayer & Encouragement Ministry

Greg Holm has been faithfully connected with Christian Military Fellowship (CMF) since 1978, when he first encountered the ministry while serving in the United States Air Force at RAF Upper Heyford in England. There, he met CMF leader Claudie Woosley, who introduced him to the ministry and invited him to participate in what would become the first CMF Bible study at that installation following a visit from CMF’s first Executive Director, Ernie Miller.

During his time in England, Greg became actively involved in Bible studies alongside members of CMF, Officers’ Christian Fellowship (OCF), and the British Officers’ Christian Union. He also helped launch a young adult fellowship and worship gathering called Living Waters Fellowship, which primarily served young enlisted service members.

Toward the end of his enlistment, Greg was invited by Ernie Miller to join him on a ministry tour of U.S. military bases across Europe, including England, Germany, Italy, and Greece—an experience that further deepened his commitment to ministry within the military community.

Greg was drawn to CMF because of its strong emphasis on prayer and its heart for reaching fellow service members with the Gospel. As a junior enlisted member at the time, he especially valued CMF’s welcoming environment, where individuals of every rank could grow in their faith and be encouraged in their walk with Christ.

After returning to Colorado, Greg continued serving with CMF as a volunteer at the home office. Re

cognizing his dedication to prayer, Ernie Miller invited him to assist with the Battle Plan, CMF’s monthly prayer calendar—an opportunity that allowed Greg to support and strengthen the ministry’s prayer efforts in a meaningful way.

Over the decades, Greg’s involvement with CMF has remained steady, and his relationship with Christ has continued to grow. Today, he serves as CMF’s Director of Field Ministries, supporting and encouraging leaders across the ministry while continuing his work in the Prayer and Encouragement Ministry.

Greg retired as a Master Sergeant in the Air National Guard and remains deeply committed to serving both the Lord and the military community through faithful prayer, encouragement, and leadership.
