For faith in the Lord Jesus brings him into the heart; and by his indwelling all his virtues are proved, and an excellence discovered beyond even that which his disciples beheld, when conversant with him upon earth. In short, there is an equality between believers in the present time, and those who lived in the time of the incarnation; for Christ, to a believing soul, is the same to-day that he was yesterday and will be for ever. (Dr. Adam Clarke)
You love Him even though you have never seen Him. Though you do not see Him now, you trust Him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. (1 Peter 1:8 NLT)
Inexpressible joy is too soft an expression to covey the emotion that fills within. It is not a joy of the heart or soul only but rather that which is written upon every fiber and every chromosome. It is the fullness of the Holy Spirit within stretching forth until joy inundates in abundance unquantifiable. When all power and all glory touch the human tent the Shekinah dwells within.
When the worries of this world surround let them not permeate the holy place. Instead focus on the Shekinah, who is Christ Himself. We do not see Him through our temporal gaze but through the eyes of faith that is the result of His loving providence.
2Co 4:18 So we don't look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (NLT)
Joh 20:29 Then Jesus told him, "You believe because you have seen Me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing Me." (NLT)
